我是今年申請U. of Miami MFA program的applicant
2/1是deadline
我在1/8前便將我的portfolio寄出
大學和寫推薦函的教授也都在1/8之前將該寄的東西寄出
但我在status check上面
至今始終顯示都還沒收到這些東西
我用package tracking的查詢
東西1/10便到Florida了
但卻一直說投遞不成功
我有寄email到學校 到admission office 到系上問是怎麼回事
但都沒有收到回信
我之前寄的地址是:

School of Communication
P.O.Box 248127
Coral Gables, FL 33124
USA
是不是是'P.O.Box'的關係
學校還沒領取
但也這麼多天了
還是我地址錯了嗎?

並祈禱它們都可以在2/1之前到呢?

Here is my suggestion to your application:
At the meantime, you wait for replying from UM office or USPS, go and get back-up doc .As you done, let us know. You can mail to us asap. We can hand it out to the office for you just in case. This makes sure you will not past the due day.

Here is my shipping recommendation: Assuming that you have merely doc. ( paper only ) , your package should go with DHL , they offer next day internatinal delievery with tracking #.

Dear eunicebbb,

1 若是已經簽收的話,可以直接把簽收人的名字告知學校,學校會去找那個簽收人要.通常文件是有收到,但是可能被不小心放置到別的地方,我有朋友也有發生一樣的問題,後來學校就回信說已經找到了. (所以就是我都用快遞而不用郵局包裹的原因,有簽收人就不怕你跑掉!)

2 另外的可能是學校已經收到相關文件,但你的Status尚未update,你想想看一年申請學校的申請人至少有數百人,學校的處理速度沒有你想像中的那麼快!

3 若學校真的沒有回你信,但就直接打電話去學校問,也許不能馬上得到答案,至少讓對方感受到你對申請的重視.

4 若學校死賴說沒有收到申請的文件,而你deadline又要到了,回一個信告訴他,你會再寄一次給校方,但會錯過Deadline,讓學校了解!
