How are you in this semester, hope everyone enjoys school life in UM.
On Sep 20 (Saturday) 5:30 pm, we will have an official welcome potluck party in Matheson Hammock Park.
Last year we held this official welcome party in the same place.
Because this is a potlock party,UM faculties will prepare food and drinks,
students don't need to prepare anything, just come here, meet each other, and enjoy eating Very Happy

Direction to Matheson Hammock Park:
1. Go on 56 Ave(Red Road) then go SOUTH.
2. Make a LEFT turn on Old Cutler Road.(it's the first traffic light after you pass 114th Street.)
3. Then keep driving.......you will see a sign " FairChild Tropical garden" on your right hand side.
4. After you saw the "FairChild Tropical Garden" sign, Make a RIGHT turn on the first coming traffic light. You also can see there is a restaurant sign called "red fish" on the road. That's a restaurant in the park.
5. after you make right turn, Continue go straight, you will see a huge parking place and beautiful sea, and that's Matheson Hammock Park, and we will have potluck party near the beach.
6. before 5:00 pm, the Park will charge parking fee $4 per car, that's why we choose the party start at 5:30 pm, after 5:00pm, no charge on parking. So make sure you are arriving after 5:00 pm.
7. This park has lots of beautiful scenery, so don't forget bring your camera Very Happy

If you want to join, please leave message on the borad before Wednesday,
so I can count the total number of people and report to UM faculties.
If you have any question or need help to go to park, please leave message on the board or email me.

correct some mistakes of direction
1. It's 57 Ave (Red Road), not 56 Ave
2. The "Red Fish" resturant is in the park.
3. We will meet at the bench near the beach ( near Red Fish Resturant)

我會去......ha ha Ya Ya........
我大略估計最多有20個學生喔(包括二至三個從未見面的新同學喔!)
至於UM faculty也有六位教授,還有經濟文化辦事處掌管學生事務的組長也會來參加
畢業校友也會來,所以一定會很熱鬧的!
